walking about. - moomba festival

So last weekend ( or last last weekend - the one that ran from 9th to the 12th, lah!) was moomba festival here in melbourne. Dont ask me what it is about, tourists arent supposed to know too much. Besides, 12th March is labour day here so it's public holiday AND long weekend, so everybody is happy.

They had fireworks over Yarra River 3 nights in a row, i think. Went for all three. they cancelled the one on sunday due to so-called "bad weather" which was a 20 seconds drizzle with raindrops u cant see with your naked eye. Anyhow, I took a couple of shots with cameras hijacked from val, roxanne and zhensheng. so here they are, enjoy :)

Some arts centre on St. Kilda, i think its the palais theatre. is that, adel?View along Yarra River, excuse the linear shot though.

most of the fireworks picture didnt come out right cause i didnt have a tripod. was sitting on some window ledge, scrunched up like a tissue. at least this wasnt too bad.
